Connect to Hive

Please follow the steps below to create a Hive connection:

1. Click on Data Connections in the left-hand menu.

2. Enter the data connections page.

There are two options on this page:

1. "Create Data Connection" at the top, click the corresponding connection type to add a new data connection.

2. "Available Data Connections" at the bottom, where you can select a data connection that has been previously created.

3. Click on Create Data Connection in the top right corner of the page, click the corresponding connection type to add a new data connection.

4. After we select "Hive" from the "SQL on Hadoop" group, we enter the page to set connection parameters.
   

5. After filling in the parameters, click the "Validate" button to obtain the validation results (validate the connectivity between HENGSHI SENSE and the data connection settings, which can't be added until validation is passed).

6. Once validated, click the "Add" button to add the configured Hive connection.
