Connecting to Spark SQL

Please follow the steps below to create a Spark SQL connection:

1. Click on Data Connections in the left side menu.

2. Enter the data connections page.

There are 2 options on this page:

1. "Create New Data Connection" at the top, click the corresponding connection type to add a new data connection.

2. "Available Data Connections" at the bottom, where you can select a data connection that has been previously created.

3. Click on Create New Data Connection at the top right of the page, then click the corresponding connection type to add a new data connection.

4. We select "Spark SQL" from the "SQL on Hadoop" group to enter the page for setting connection parameters.

5. After filling in the parameters, click the "Validate" button to get the validation results (confirm the connectivity between HENGSHI SENSE and the data connection settings; it cannot be added if it has not passed validation).

6. Once validated successfully, click the "Add" button to add the configured Spark connection.
