Connecting to TiDB

Please follow the steps below to create a TiDB connection:

1. Click on Data Connections in the left-side menu.

2. Enter the data connection page.

There are two options on this page:

1. The "New Data Connection" at the top, click on the corresponding connection type to add a new data connection.

2. The "Available Data Connections" at the bottom, where you can select a data connection that has been previously created.

3. Click on New Data Connection at the top right of the page, click on the corresponding connection type to add a new data connection.

4. After selecting "TiDB" from the "NoSQL / NewSQL" group, you will enter the page to set connection parameters.

5. After filling in the parameters, click the "Verify" button to get the verification results (to test the connectivity of HENGSHI SENSE and the configured data connection. The connection cannot be added if it does not pass the verification).

6. Once verified, click the "Add" button to add the configured TiDB connection.

TiDB does not support window functions, and therefore does not support advanced calculations. To support it, acceleration engine must be enabled.
